Camping
Our Résidence-Camping is located on the "Rotten" (Rhône) and comprises 2.5 hectares of specious places to park your caraven, motohome, tent or other camping vehicles. The park has a capacity of 32 permanent sites and some 130 tourism spots.
The sanitary facilities are spread over three places on the site and will be checked several times a day and cleaned.
Each year, made renovations and improvements to the facilities are always in tip top contiion.
Besides the place is the swimming pool of the community Reckingen-Gluringen, wher you will be on the guest card show an interesting discount granted.
In addition, three very nice chalets for rent are available, equipped with all comforts in order to grant you a relaxing stay. The Résidence-Camping Augenstern offres many options for your holiday or short stay in a way that you have when leaving the feeling that they have not exhausted all possibilities.
On our beauiful place it has a cozy restaurant serving traditional dishes. Auf unserem schönen Platz treffen Sie ein gemütliches Restaurant mit gutbürgerlicher Küche. You can indulge in the restaurant or on the beautiful garden terrace with a good glass of wine and a sumtuous meal! Enjoy the amazing views of the mountains and the foresight off the Rhone Valley. Perhaps you see in the twilight deer or other wildlife at the edge.
Of course there are for our young guests a beutiful an spacious playgound equipped with a number of gaming machines as trampoline, slide, swings an padding pool. In the evening the children are happy to participate in table tennis championships!
In winter the place is the ideal location for many winter sports lovers. The Aletsch arena with almost 100 km of slops is only 15 minutes drive from the park and one of the largest cross-country skiing in Switzerland leads directly across the square. Within several miles of winter hiking trails, snowshoeing, ski slopes in the district Gluringen, in Münster-Geschinen or sledding slopes in the immediate vicinity of the camp round of the range of sport facilities. Just enjoy the fabulous surroundings. Pure relaxation and nature go hand in hand!
In summer, the excursions are almost more diverse than in winter. The park is located centereg and allow for interesting day trips to the valley of Mattertal (Zermatt), the Saas valley or to take into central valais. In the immediate vicinity lead several passes as the Furka, Grimsel, Gotthard or the Nufenen over the Alpes. If you drive over the Nufenen- or the Simplonpass, you are within the shortest time in Ticino or in Italy. Do you prefer so in the immediate vicinity of the campsite you can from a wide range suchs as cycling, montainbiking, river rafting, enjoy gliding, paragliding or just make along the Aletsch (Unesco World Heritage Site) is a memoriable hike. This are just a view ideas how you can experience and enjoy the nice Gomsertal. Ther ist still much more to encover. Come over and convince yourself!
